This Technician App is provided by Wananchi for use by our own field technicians and contractors to manage work orders, maintenance tickets, inventory, and required safety checks. It is not available to the general public and is not intended for use by children. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it is handled.
Information we collect

How your information is used
- To operate the app's core features: work order and ticket management, inventory, check-in/location tracking, and safety checks.
- To authenticate your account and keep your session secure.
- To send you push notifications relevant to your assigned work.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Your data is sent only to:
- Wananchi's own servers, to operate the app.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, solely to deliver push notifications to your device.
- Google Maps, solely to display maps within the app.
These providers process data on our behalf, under our instructions, only to make the app work — they do not receive your data for their own independent use.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account and activity data for as long as your employment or contractor relationship with Wananchi is active, and as needed to meet our record-keeping obligations. To request deletion of your account data, contact us using the details below.
Security
All data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
